Our dance year is a year-long commitment and it consists of Fall, Winter and Spring terms. Dancers work on alignment, strength, flexibility and dance technique as well as learn dance routine(s) to perform at the recital.
Pemberton Dance Studio holds one all-studio performance event a year - a Year-End dance recital in June.

Jazz dance is taught to the music of today layering jazz style over traditional ballet technique. Students develop flexibility, strength and coordination through warm-up, centre exercises and across the floor progressions.
Acrobatic Dance combines classical dance technique with the precision of acrobatics. Following Acrobatic Arts, students will focus on flexibility and conditioning to build strength and balance control, muscle control and concentration to execute acrobatic tricks applicable to the student’s level. Taking additional ballet and jazz classes are recommended.
An expressive style of dance that combines several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Additional ballet class is highly recommended prior to joining this program.
Foundational dance program for young dancers to explore movement, musicality, imagination and expression in a nurturing and fun environment. Monthly-themes, songs, games and a whole lot of dancing!
Whether your goal is to explore new movement or resume dance after a break, our adult programs are engaging, fun and welcoming.
